Ang Lee’s “Life of Pi” in 3D opening next week will battle Dreamworks 3D Animation “Rise of the Guardians.” Strong buzz on both films should give a massive boost to overall 2012 3D box office revenue. Both films open on November 21. Hot on their heels will be The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey opening on Friday December 14th with sneak previews on Thursday December 13, 2012.
