“Peanuts”Charlie Brown NowPlaying in3D!

On Thursday Jim Gianopulos Chairman of 20th Century Fox announced at Cinema Con that the upcoming big-screen adaptation of Charles Schulz’s Peanuts will be released in 3D! The last time the Peanuts gang was on the big screen was in 1980 in “Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (And Don’t Come Back!)” Schultz, who died in 2000 was known for being against releasing the film rights to the Peanuts comic.Convincing the Schulz family and heirs to the release the film rights to the iconic Peanuts comic took two years. The 3D animate feature will be directed by Steve Martino whose credits include “Ice Age Continental Drift,” and “Horton Hears a Who.” More when I get it. Another awesome film coming at ya in 3D!
