Hyderabad, India-based DQ Entertainment International (“DQE”) the global animation production company announces its slate of 3D feature films with budgets of $25-30M each. DQE will bring 3 global favorites to the silver screen each in 3D. Beginning with The Jungle Book set for a 2012-2013 release, based on the original writing of Rudyard Kipling. Should be amazing in 3D.
The New Adventures of Peter Pan is next up for DQE. Peter Pan is set for a 2013-2014 release. Magical and timeless Neverland, 21st century London. The fight to save Neverland from the Evil Captain Hook and other unimaginable evils will challenge Peter Pan and his friends…can they do it or is this end of Neverland…all in 3D!
Third in DQE’s recent announcement is The Phoenix and The Flying Carpet set for a 2013-2014 release. The original was written by Edith Nesbit.
