In the number two spot is Sony’s The Amazing Spiderman another 3D pic with a take of $35 mil. In the number 4 spot is Disney’s Brave 3D with a take of $10.7 mil. Ted a Universal/Realitivity/MRC non-3D pic comes in 3rd with a take of $22.1mil. Rounding off the top ten are two additional 3D films, Katy Perry’s Part of Me (Paramount) in number 8 with a take of $3.7mil and another DreamWorks Animated film Madagascar 3
Europe’s Most Wanted in the 10th spot with $3.69mil. Paramount studios lands 3 films this week in the top ten in which two are in 3D. 5 of the top ten films are in 3D. Who says the 3D format is dead?
