Google has a new Cardboard App That Lets You Shoot 3D VR Photos From Your Phone

The world of immersive 3D and VR entertainment is at a convergence. Or shall we say they complement each other and that you really can’t have VR without 3D. VR is what 3D should strive to be
a bit more like, immersive! Google recently launched a Cardboard Camera App for Android. It’s an app that let’s you shoot 3D virtual reality photographs with a smartphone. The end photos can be viewed through Google Cardboard VR headset. According to online sources, taking photo with the app is quite simple, hold your phone out and move it around in a circle. Next to experience the photo you’ve just taken place you phone inside the Google Cardboard viewer and look at the 3D panoramic image you just captured.
