Silent Hill Revelation 3D is written and directed by Michael J. Bassett and based on Konami’s “Silent Hill” video game series.
Looks like a pretty cool film to get the 3D makeover and a smart move by the producers. The Silent Hill franchise already has a strong following. Director Michael J. Bassett felt that filming Silent Hill Revelation in the 3D format would allow for a more immersive experience. Michael also said he wrote the screenplay with 3D in mind and wanted to shoot in the 3D format to give the viewers a more immersive experience.
The film was shot with the 3D RED Epic camera. So keep in mind during post…the recent chatter on 3D is, more is better!
