A Harry Potter Type Cloaking Device

Reuters reports that Scientist at the University of Rochester have discovered a device that seems to make objects disappear just like the magical cloak from the pages of the Harry Potter stories. Professor of physics John Howell from the up state New York school said a lot of people have worked on numerous aspects of optical cloaking for years.
The newly discovered Rochester Cloak is not really a tangible cloak at all but actually a device composed of layers of optical lenses. According to Joesph Choi a graduate student and one of the inventors of the cloaks said, “from what we know this is the first cloaking device that provides three-dimensional continuously multidirectional cloaking.
