David Attenborough’s Penguins 3D

Posted on 02 March 2013 by admin

Penguins 3D a film written and narrated by naturalist and filmmaker David Attenborough will open in US theaters on May 24 2013. The 3D film follows the journey of a young King Penguin as he travels through the Antarctic. In our video clip courtesy of Atlantic Productions and BSKyB the title reads The Penguin King 3D, the films title has changed…the current title is Penguin 3D.
The film wil be available in a number of formats including IMAX, RealD, digital 3D with both a 20-minute version and a 40-minute version. Ok here are a few more choices to confuse the audience…well I understand options are good…both the 20 and 40 minute versions will also be available in both 3D and 2D, 4K and 2K. Penguins 3D was produced by Atlantic Productions in association with BSkyB and U.S. based Galileo productions. Atlantic was also the production company behind Flying Monsters 3D. Ok I haven’t see Flying Monsters 3D but the reviews have been great. I think more 3D filmmakers need to take note of some of the amazing 3D documentary films in the market place from Imax and discovery. I’ll try to compile a list and post when we get caught up.
