Rumors are swirling online about the next generation… iPhone in 3D? There’s been tremendous buzz surrounding Nintendo’s 3DS especially since the 3D content can be viewed without the use of 3-D glasses. Early buzz and good reviews are in on the 3DS, with the iPod and iPhone similar screen size to that of the 3DS it makes sense that Apple might explore the option of a 3D iPhone.
Reuters issued a press release in December of 2010 that Apple and Sharp have entered into an agreement whereby according to reports, Sharp will provide Apple with small to mid- sized LCD screens for their phones. Sharp has recently developed a new 3D Smartphone, Sharp 003SHto be launched by Disney Mobil that will run on Android 2.2 Froyo. Apple recently received a patent for a glasses-less 3D projection, 3D that can be viewed without the use of glasses…hmmm.
Tell us what you think. Should Apple jump into the 3D waters?
