Dwayne Johnson “Hercules” in 3D ?
Action director Renny Harlin ( Die Hard 2, Cutthroat Island) is slated to direct “Hercules 3D” for Millennium Pictures. The Renny Harlin directed “Hercules 3D” is aiming for a March 2014 release to beat a rival Hercules film that is being directed by fellow action director Brett Ratner. The Brett Ratner directed Hercules pic is scheduled for an August 2014 release and stars Dwayne Johnson. There’s a strong chance that the Paramount/MGM produced Hercules film that is being directed by Brett Ratner will most likely be released in 3D given the studios recent stance in favor of the 3D format on two of their upcoming tentpole films, GI Joe and Star Trek 2, both films were converted to 3D in post production. GI Joe Retaliation 3D opens March 29th and Star Trek 2 opens May 17th 2013. More to follow.
