The 3D sci-fi action drama, Starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney and directed by Alfonso Cuaron opens October 4 2013 in the USA. The storyline follows the journey of a medical engineer and an astronaut who must work together to survive after an accident leaves them adrift in outer space.

Conceived with 3D in mind Alfonso Cuaron designed scenes knowing he could add an extra dimension to help enhance the storyline. 3D is such an amazing and powerful tool to have at you disposal if you’re a filmmaker! When used properly you can completely immerse your audience into a particular scene. Looking forward to seeing this in IMAX 3D.
